Our founding fathers never intended for the peoples' representatives to make a career out of their elected positions.  They established a two year stint for the elected official and when that period of time was over the elected official went back home to work in their chosen profession.  Wow, has that changed over time!  Now we have a professional political class whose job is to get re-elected and that becomes their focus and driving force.  Loyalty to donors, especially large ones, becomes stronger than loyalty to the people they represent.

This must change!  It has to change.  I will add my voice to those in Congress who are thinking along these same lines; we will keep pushing it and soon we can pass a Term Limits Amendment.   I feel so strongly about this that I have signed the U.S. Term Limits Amendment Pledge.

I urge you to go to the polls during the Primary in 2018.  Early voting starts February 20th and the Primary is March 6, 2018.  If you want to remove  our current 14 year incumbent, John Carter, and elect me as your representative this is the only election period where you will have your voice heard.  Your vote matters!
